Intellectual property laws are supposed to enrich our shared world.

Patents and copyrights were originally meant to give premium profits to the innovator and/or their assigns. These days we see too many products, from high-density car batteries to 90's clamshell subnotebooks, where corporations own it, won't sell it, won't sell the rights. They pull that and they should end up forced to sell their control and tooling to somebody who will. Use it or lose it, motherf*ckers. You don't get government-protected exclusivity so you can IMPOVERISH our shared pool.
