Sara and I spent some time today talking about how Scooby Doo was, if you think about it, kind of an activist model of how to live. Find a crew of friends you can utterly trust. Be there for each other, even when they f*ck up. ESPECIALLY when they f*ck up. Don't trust the people you meet along the way but DO listen to them. Stay curious. Fix what you can. Be "those meddling kids" and maybe the schemers and bullies and peddlers of fear won't "get away with it". And be sure to have fun along the way.

Huh. Maybe I should make this into a t-shirt.
