A friend of mine just posted a video from San Diego ComicCon. The team that does Burn Notice did a special series of "advice from a spy" shorts on, yes, optimizing your time at ComicCon. How to deal with having two panels you want to see scheduled for the same timeslot. How to maximize your take of swag. And so on. Jeffrey Donovan did a great job at keeping a straight face while reading out of a script that was full-on comics nerd in both goals and jargon.
Sadly, I'm not posting the youTube link since those things get takedowns in hours or less.
Lots of media companies spend money on cons these days. Plenty even send their stars for panels. And with Bruce Campbell in the cast they must have had some lead on what this all is like. But even so, major points for style, guys. Money is nice. Stars are nice. But actually tying up your production staff to make something directed not at your television audience but just at our geeky hearts.
Shiny.
